Above is my monopoly game set that I love so much. Love monopoly. The picture was taken when I was playing the game with my siblings. Great fun. I actually bought the monopoly credit card all the way from US. I sucks though because I forgot to that the monopoly set that we had was in pound currency and not in dollars. Solution - get another monopoly set that uses US dollar currency! haha. I'll get it later...










Above is just me hanging around at pantai Port Dickson. Prove - watch the toes. hehe. I was trying to conquer my fear of swimming in the sea. I did not go far into the sea, just around 30m from my bag. I was alone. Nobody should try to conquer a fear alone. uhh. I was in PD to get my dad at his conference at Coral Resort - next to Mayangsari Resort where Maryam got married the other day, last week of the date picture taken.










The e-ticket to go to UK. I actually forgot to bring this paper to the airport on the day of flight. Stupid2. Apologies again to my family for all the trouble. The flight was great. Little to no complaints. Cabin not full - nobody is sitting between me and an indonesian woman. Got to sit near window. No need to pray on board because arrived just nice into fajr. No long queues especially since I misplaced my medical exam and I had to get x-rayed at the airport. huhu.

Me and Acap. Just walking around Manchester city. Arndale is the main shopping building in the city. I think. Have not explored the whole city.








This is the view from my window. Top floor. No real view. Yup, it kind of sucks. But I can take it. Contract is from 25th Jan to 12th Sept 2009. Hopefully I can get a good place for next year. InsyaAllah.








My view with snow! Love snow. Hate the cold. Heater in room is in full blast. It is still snowing now. And probably tomorrow too. Subhanallah.

This song is good and should be forwarded to all muslims because the funding does not only come from American taxpayers, but every products that supported Israel. Let's do out best to boycott their products in hope to cripple their cash flow.

- I have arrived in Manchester. The journey was tiring. KUL-LON-Manchester.
- Tak jumpa lagi supervisor. Dia out of the office until Monday.
- Registration to university completed. Accomodation too, but the room and flat was a little bit of a let down. uhh
- My highest gratitude to penghuni rumah 17 Banff Road for becoming my host. All the best to them for their exams.

It tasted funny

We went to a new restaurant for dinner. We ordered something different than usual. I forgot what it was though. But the thing I remember was that after the first bite, I giggled and my mom asked me why. I was actually having some flashback to a funny incident. My mom looked a little bit too serious when she asked the question and made me instantaneously blurred out "this dish, it taste funny". And we had a laugh.

Well that was the story. More or less like that. It happened a long time ago and it just hit me. I do quite a lot of funny stuff and I love jokes. I love them so much that at times it is really kind of rude. There is of course, the good side of being a little bit funny. I am not quite sure what but I am sure there is. hehe. To celebrate all the funny things I had done, I had changed the name of my personal memories blog to "funny taste". Yes, I do have a funny taste. I will try my best to share all the laughter from my experiences.

- At KB home, surfing internet using 3G portable modem is okay. Using Celcom because 3G maxis is not that good at this house. It is not that fast but it will do the job.
- UniKL or MARA masih lagi belum memberi balasan confirmation to fly.
- Ayah Del, meninggal di hospital KB last Tuesday. Innalillah. May Allah bless his soul.
- Classmate young friend Maryam getting married to Ihsan's big brother this December. I am still left behind from the whole story, if there is one. Tahniah to Ihsan kerana akan mendapat kakak ipar muda baru.

End of my last Easter Break

Yes. This should be my last easter in UK. Going to graduate this year insyaAllah. After graduation, I will accompany my parents, my grandma and a family friend to Istanbul. Balik Mesia bersama2 dgn mereka.







Pegi Uni Park aritu. Bertangkap2 gambar sedikit. Gambar daffodils and angsa2 crossing jalan di belakang bas shuttle Sutton Bonington.







Daku dirahmati. Dapat main snow lagi. heh. Snowing malam ahad aritu. Daku keluar pukul 4am (tak tido lagi) utk main snow. Daku buat snowman kecik. Tgk la gambar. Kalo perasan patches atas snow tu masa gelap, itu lah footprints daku yg telah berusaha membuat snowball for snowman. Snowman tak besar sbb tak larat. Snowing pun dah stop at around 4.30am. Pagi esok, daku lihat sahaja snowman cair...babai snowman. Actually more like a snowbaby. heh.







Malam Sabtu lepas, setelah penat bershopping di Loughborough bersama2 kakEja and kakWan, kami bermain monopoly. Daku buka set monopoly yg telah disimpan hampir 3 tahun. huhu. Main di rumah kakEja, dijemput juga en Saddiq utk join dinner and main sampai ngantuk. Nak main lagi!!







Ahad esoknya, daku pegi makan2 di Skinny Sumo. Sekian lama hendak pegi, and sekarang baru dapat. Ada some sort of party. We just mingle around with people from Nottingham. Oke la Skinny Sumo, but rasa mcam mahal skit.


This is a squirrel eating some sort of a nut. I saw it on the way to the bus stop in SB. It was so cute seeing it nibbled the nut. heh.


Oke la. back to work. Bleh ke siap first draft before this friday? uhuh

UKEC Careers Fair 2008

Last Sunday was UKEC careers fair. Dengan semangat yg agak down and confidence level yg rendah bersama2 tiada expectations, daku turun London utk ke fair tersebut. Turun London on Friday petang, lepas pinjam tie dari en Acap. Bermalam di tempat en Sofe, xroomate tersayang. ihiks. And naik Nottingham Isnin petang, terus ke Sutton Bonington.














On Saturday actually ada dinner bersama pegawai2 MARA. Ada officer, Tuan Haji Hassan Nurdin, Timbalan Ketua Pengarah Bahagian Pendidikan MARA dtg London utk interview students for UniKL. Dinner itu adalah satu pengalaman because, just suddenly, daku dan en Sofe diminta utk 'wakil' university dan duduk di meja VIP. Daku duduk di sebelah en Halim, the Ketua MARA di MSD London. wah2. Daku tak makan sgt malam tu, just because sebelum dtg ada makan lunch yg lewat and agak nervous. Lepas dinner kami pergi mendapatkan en Amir aka Ustaz dari tempat en Hafiz aka Bob di Bayswater.






















Sunday lah is the day. Daku ke UCL bersama2 Ustaz dan en Sofe utk Careers Fair UKEC tersebut. Pegi lihat booths, pegi ambil goodies, berjumpa dengan rakan2 kenalan dan dikenalan. huhu. It was a good day. I registered myself with 3 interviews. Sofe had a walk in interview. But Ustaz, being a KPM student, just can't do much and just mingle around with people. He went to UniKL interview with me and en Fauzi though. It was quite a disappointment to him. I feel for him.







Monday was the busiest day? maybe? I managed to get myself into 3 interviews. Pagi itu pegi King's College utk UniKL. Interview group bersama2 Ustaz dan en Fauzi. Kemudian straightaway ke Bayswater MSD utk interview BP and lastly, daku adalah last interviewee utk SPA. Overall, I find the interviews are very entertaining. It may be because before going to interviews, I actually don't really expect anything. For all interviews, I play it cool. heh.







Hasil interviews adalah satu conditional offer letter dari SPA. They will contact me later from BP Healthcare Group. And my records are with them and I need to find a phD spot before contacting them again from UniKL. Still, I don't really know what to do.

Ya Allah, berilah petunjuk kepada saya utk memilih kerjaya masadepan yg baik supaya saya dapat terus beribadat kepadaMu. Amin.

Sutton Bonington Walk

Hampir 3 tahun berstudi di Sutton Bonington. Baru aritu berjalan2 countryside yg penuh lapang dgn ladang2. Daku berjalan2 bersama en Aus and en Ikhwan. Tetamu dari Raleigh yg bermalam di SB.








Berjalan2 melihat pemandangan dan kenderaan darat dan udara. Byk benar train dan kapal terbang yg berlalu2an di sepetang jalan2 hari itu.









Terima kasih kepada tetamu2 daku ini. Kerana tanpa mereka tidaklah daku berjalan2 di SB di jalan2 countryside. Walaupun jauh dan memenatkan, daku yakin bukan senang nak ada reason dan masa utk jalan2 sebegitu. Inilah rahmat tetamu? alhamdulillah
